Cleon Arrey is a 2nd Generation, Cameroonian-American Cinematographer & Director / DP, based in Los Angeles. With an extensive background in visual aesthetics, philosophy and applied sciences, his practice centers around creating imagery that prioritizes the translation of metaphor, feeling, and emotion. In his films, Cleon seeks to recontextualize and challenge the conventions of traditional narrative storytelling, using cinema as a means of ushering audiences to occupy subject positions outside of their own human condition.
